CAS DataLoggers has recently provided the medical monitoring and alarm system for an in vitro fertilization clinic which needed a wireless setup to monitor and alarm several incubators. Staff need to maintain the incubators at a constant temperature of 37oC (99oF) and a relative humidity of 99%. This complex setup required an automatic system to monitor and alarm temperature, humidity and CO2 in real time to alert staff of unsafe levels and  help prevent any losses. is announcing a new firmware update for the Accsense B1-06 Wireless Data Logger Gateways. The update resolves a prior issue with corrupted wireless connection when inside areas experiencing large amounts of wireless traffic. Now connections are immediately re-established in these events, with all buffered data saved to the Accsense cloud servers. Recently CAS DataLoggers provided an Accsense temperature alarm and monitoring system to a hospital blood bank looking to replace their old paper chart recorders. To keep their refrigerated blood supply in a usable condition, the lab’s medical storage units needed to maintain internal temperatures carefully, given the perishability of blood components. The lab technician required a datalogging system that could connect with RTD probes for highly accurate temperature readings and which could automatically store all the data for compliance with FDA Title 21 CFR and CAPA regulations.
